Here's What We Do
Horizontal Directional Drilling
Horizontal Directional Drilling is a way to install underground pipelines, cables and service conduit through trenchless methods.
Plowing
Cable plowing is a cost-effective way to install utilities underground with minimal ground disturbance.
Trenching/Excavating
We have equipment to do all applications of trenching and excavating to assist with the boring and plowing aspects.
Rock Sawing
A specialized excavation solution which allows for the precise excavation of difficult-to-remove materials while ensuring minimal disturbance to surrounding structures.
Hydro Excavation
The process of removing or moving soil with pressurized water. This allows for a non-destructive and more accurate way to excavate soil and locate underground utilities.
Pipe Fusion
The process that joins two pieces of thermoplastic pipe together with heat and pressure so that the joined pipe is seamless, cost effective, and corrosion resistant.
Recent Projects
We are taking our equipment and crews all over and knocking utility infrastructure projects out of the park. Here are a few of our most recent successes.
Alliant Fiber
– Badgerland Connections is assisting in an ongoing project to build their fiber network to connect substations. Our crews have drilled roughly 24 miles so far.
Spectrum
– We’re assisting in the installation of installing fiber optics to provide rural families with high-speed communications.
Solar Projects
– We are currently working on solar projects in the midwest!

Badgerland did a fantastic job on multiple bores on our solar farm and most notably, a 600’ shot. This particular bore assisted the project in seamlessly carrying our AC cable runs under significant tree growth that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. In what geographical area does your company work?
We currently do a majority of our work in Wisconsin but have started projects in Iowa and are looking to expand our work across the United States.

Safety is one of our core values at Badgerland Connections. We have a head safety manager as well as an extensive safety program.

Our crew consists of local 139 operating engineers and local 2150 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
